How the TikTok hashtag generator works
Type what your video is about in a few words and press Get hashtags. To read an account instead, start with @, as in @yourname, or paste its tiktok.com/@ profile link; a word without @ is read as a topic. You never log in to TikTok, and we ask for no email.
For an account, our server asks a third-party data provider for its videos and reads the captions of up to 20 recent ones; their hashtags are counted and listed most used first, up to 15. For a topic, or when an account's captions give no hashtag, an AI model suggests up to 15 from your words or from the account's name alone. If the model does not answer, our own topic lists do: they match English words only, and they are shuffled. The result always says which of these answered.
The AI model is asked to include two or three general TikTok tags such as #fyp and #foryou, and our lists can add up to three general tags from a fixed set. We make no claim that these help: we do not measure reach, views or how often a tag is used. Keep the tags that describe your video.
A topic goes to the AI provider we use; an account name goes to our data provider, and to the AI provider when its captions give no hashtag. We do not save either in our database; the request is logged with your IP address. The generator is free, and we limit each visitor to 20 requests a minute.

An account is read from the captions of up to 20 of its recent videos. The result says which source answered, and you copy one tag or all of them.
How many hashtags should I use on TikTok?
We suggest up to 15 and do not claim a best number. Pick the tags that describe your video and leave out the ones that do not fit it.
Why do I see #fyp or #foryou in the list?

Will these hashtags help my video reach more people?
We cannot promise that. We do not measure reach, views or how often a tag is used, and TikTok decides who sees a video. The tags are ideas that match your words or an account's captions.
