How the profile picture viewer works
You type a username into this Instagram profile picture viewer, or paste a profile link and we take the username from it. Before the first lookup in this browser, we email you a 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes; a confirmation lasts 30 days in this browser and counts for our other free tools. The address joins our email list.
Our server asks a third-party data provider for the account's profile picture, and a backup provider when the first has no answer. We keep each answer for up to 15 minutes, or up to 6 hours when the backup answered, so a picture changed very recently can show the old one.
We show the largest version of the picture our provider returns, and its size in pixels when the provider gives it; it varies by account, and we do not enlarge or change it. Open it on its own or save it as an image file: both pass through our server. This makes the page an insta dp viewer, an Instagram pfp viewer and a saver in one.
The tool is free, and after your email is confirmed we set no daily limit. The request is logged with your IP address, and our CDN and your browser may keep a copy of the picture for up to an hour. To see an account's follower count, use our Instagram followers counter.

How do I view an Instagram profile picture in a bigger size?

What size is the picture?
The largest version our data provider returns for the account. When the provider gives its size, the result shows it in pixels under the picture. It varies by account, and we do not enlarge or change the picture.
Why do you ask for my email?
Each lookup on this tool needs a confirmed email in this browser. We keep the address with the username you typed and your IP address, and the address joins our email list.
Can I download the profile picture?
Yes, so the page works as an Instagram profile picture downloader too. Press Save photo and your browser saves the picture as an image file named after the account. The file comes through our server, which passes it on as it is, and the save asks for no second email step.
Does it work for private accounts?
The tool does not refuse private accounts: it shows whatever profile picture our data provider returns for the username. It shows nothing else of the account, no posts and no stories.
Will the person know I looked at their picture?
You never log in and your Instagram account is not used: our data provider reads the profile. We cannot see what Instagram records when a provider reads a profile, so we make no promise about it.
What happens to the username I type?
Our server sends it to our data providers to read the profile picture, and keeps the answer for up to 15 minutes, or up to 6 hours from the backup provider. The request is logged with your IP address. When you confirm an email, we keep the username you typed with it.
